Mr Lewis and Mrs Kirk have been talking about other countries in their Geography lessons. Mr Lewis’s work during lockdown has focussed on Kenya, India and Japan whereas Mrs Kirk has taught her students about China. This is what she says about her work with Year 9:
9Q have been studying China in Geography this term. As we come to the end of the unit we decided to supplement our cultural understanding by making Jiaozi – Chinese dumplings. Thank you parents for your help in the kitchen and shopping!
Because the trip to Italy had to be cancelled this year, Mrs Kirk cooked an Italian meal with some of our Pitsford families:
A perfect evening to go Italian! We were supposed to be hosting our Italian exchange this week at Pitsford School with our friends from Savona… maybe next year! Still this was fun.
